Two of Idaho’s most prominent names in education, the Idaho Association of School Administrators, IASA, and Northwest Council for Computer Education, NCCE, are partnering together to provide new ways for Idaho educators to expand their professional learning. By working together, these two not-for-profit Idaho-based organizations will provide Idaho administrators and educators with more ways to earn professional learning opportunities and collaborate.

IASA is a member-driven professional organization for Idaho K-12 school administrators that offers professional development as part of their member benefits. Andy Grover, IASA Executive Director, sees the benefits of partnering with NCCE, “IASA was looking for a partner to deliver exemplary professional learning solutions to advance education for all learners and help school leaders forge ahead in any environment.”

NCCE has over 80 professional learning specialists and has conducted nearly 900 training events in the last year. In addition to being the largest Microsoft global training partner, NCCE is also a Google for Education and ISTE certified partner. Through this partnership, IASA members will benefit from a more extensive professional learning network and more ways to learn, explore new technologies, and share their experiences.

As the professional association for school administrators in Idaho, the IASA is committed to improving the preparatory and in-service training of educational personnel. The IASA strives to provide professional learning and development training designed to support individual administrators, schools and district improvements for on-going success. Members of the IASA are school district superintendents, secondary school principals, elementary school principals and special education directors and have been a unified umbrella association since 1981.
ABOUT NCCE
Northwest Council for Computer Education, based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is a nationally recognized professional learning organization focused on supporting technology education leaders. In March of 2021, NCCE celebrated its 50th-anniversary virtual conference with nearly 2000 attendees from all over the country. With over 4000 members, NCCE is a nationally recognized ISTE affiliate and provides E-rate services.
